We care for children and adults with developmental disabilities

Southwest Healthcare Services is working on getting certified by the Ohio Department of Developmental Disabilities (DODD).
These are the services we will offer:
Applied behavior analysis (ABA) therapy Assistance with Daily Living Activities  Medication Administration Behavioral management and support Hygiene Care Bathing Dressing Take Vital Signs Social skills training Wheelchair assistance Collect Treatment Plan Information Turn or Reposition assistance Change Sheets and Bed Linens Trach Care (Including changing and cleaning) Observation Crisis intervention and support Communicate issues to Nurse or Doctor Positive behavior support plans Bagging via Trach or Mouth Respiratory Treatment Suctioning Gastrostomy Tube Care (Including Tube Feeding, Cleaning, Changing)


Nursing Services

We provide the care that one would have received at the hospital but in the home setting, allowing the client to heal in a familiar environment.

Group Homes

Southwest Healthcare Services has set a goal to manage as many group homes that the community needs. We believe in working hand in hand with the Cincinnati area to provide quality help in hosting individuals in need.


Home Services

Routine housework including general cleaning, vacuuming, dusting, washing floors, laundry, ironing, changing beds, defrosting refrigerators/freezers, cleaning ovens/stoves and china cabinets. Heavier cleaning such as spring-cleaning, light fixtures, and washing walls and windows. Planning, cooking, and serving meals. Monitoring and motivating regular diet plans. Transporting clients to social activities and appointments. Running errands and shopping for clients or transporting clients to carry out these activities. Providing respite and palliative care. Serving as companions and participating in friendly socialization activities.


Companionship

Companionship Services include keeping the client company and engaging the client in any number of activities, such as Conversation; Reading; Writing; Games; Crafts; Playing Cards; Walking; Planning, Cooking, and Serving Meals; Baking for Holidays and Special Occasions; Assist with Entertaining; Medication & Appointment Reminders; and Escort to Appointments, Visiting Friends & Neighbors; Shopping, Events, Plays, and Religious Services; and much more.
